great escapade

we have a hobby. when lex is not at home, we paw thru bottom of the trash area in the hopes of snagging some treats. today we learned a new trick, opening the trash door itself and sara (being the cheeky girl herself - this was the same pup who was afraid of dogs barking at her), ran out. but she didnt go far. she never goes far without me, only loitered around the gate outside. me? im a good doggy, even if the gate is open wide, i stay inside the house, cos lex said i shldnt go anywhere with her on a leash, cos i dunno how to cross the road and avoid cars.
